As a busy mom of two, I’m always looking for ways to make my life a little easier. For instance, I grocery shop on Fridays after I drop Mia off at preschool because it’s way easier to do my shopping with one kid. I also get all my organic produce delivered to the house on Wednesdays, which prevents me from having to hit the store during the week. And a newer mom hack of mine is choosing the drive-up option when I need something from Target. Rather than having to go inside with both kids, shop, and then load everything/everybody back into the car, I now just get my items delivered to my car in the parking lot--this saves me so much time and money!
Basically, I’m all about the #momhack. So, when Catered Fit reached out to me asking if I’d like to try their meal delivery service, I jumped at the opportunity. You all know that I’ve worked hard at mastering the art of meal prep, but it’s definitely not something that I look forward to each week. Using a meal delivery service, like Catered Fit, takes the hassle out of meal planning and prepping, and it also allows me to spend more time with my babies..or alone.
Catered Fit is a healthy meal delivery service that delivers daily, five days a week (Sunday through Thursday), and offers four different meal plans: classic, paleo, meatless, and combo. I opted for the paleo plan, which focuses on lean meats and fresh fruits and vegetables. The paleo plan is also free of grains, dairy, legumes, and processed foods.
I received three meals a day, for three days, and was impressed by the portion sizes. Although I meal prep each week, I think that I tend to prep too much food which can leave me feeling bloated and sluggish after my meals. When I received my first delivery, I looked at the portions and thought that I would for sure need snacks between meals, but each meal left me fully content.
